Why we do

Education: Sending children to school by the parents living in poorest suburban and remote rural communities in poor countries, is considered a luxury as they cannot bear the cost of the schools – tuition fee, books, uniforms and transportation to school. Parents would rather prefer to subject their children to child labor to supplement the income of the household to meet the basic needs of the family – food, clothing and shelter.

Libraries: Most of the children and youths living in suburban or rural areas of the developing countries, cannot even think of having library. Consequently, the children and youths living in the poor and remote communities have no place and facility where they could go after school or in vacations to involve themselves in constructive learning activities; where they have access to online modern information resources to enhance and supplement their knowledge base; where they can learn and take part in competition and feel a sense of achievement.

Sports Development: As mentioned above, the absence of sports facilities and playground is another reason for youths and children to spend their leisure time in unwanted activities. Just like the countless other resources which are not planned and shared equally across the world and within countries – playgrounds for children in rural areas are no existent. Many of these children in the rural areas are seen playing in streets or in empty lots but due to the rapid population growth and more land use – those lots – once used as playgrounds are also being eliminated. As a result, children are forced to spend their leisure time out on the streets or in markets making levy unto unwanted/criminal activities.

Employment & Skills Development: Will enable the boy and girls to avail employment opportunities that will bring economic prosperity at community and national level to contribute to the GDP of the nation.

Public Health & Hygiene: Clean air to breath and clean water to drink are the main causes of high (100 per 1000 at average) child mortality and diseases in all other ages and shorter life expectancy.
