What we do

In collaboration with national and international partners, YRC develops and implements sustainable and wide-ranging interventions to support formal/non-formal education, career and occupational development, and after-the-school activities for youths and children in the under-served and deprived communities to bring about social and economic change, self-reliance, self-respect and self-esteem. The main focus is on:

  • formal education (directly provide support to youths and children – books, education supplies, school uniforms, etc.   Organize youths to form community centers, sports clubs for after-the-school activities)
  • skills development programs (capacity building, vocational and occupational training to enable youths to find jobs or start small businesses to lead an honorable life and create jobs),
  • supplemental education programs (strengthen capacity of educational institutions – provide computers, school furniture, classroom materials and setup libraries for youths to have access to the information resource, and
  • public health awareness programs (mother & child health, drinking water and sanitation).
